We are conservative with respect to tax planning and preparation. However, as long as we believe there is a legitimate justification for a certain position, we vigorously defend that position to avoid payment of unwarranted charges. We have an excellent reputation with both the IRS and FTB. Our returns are rarely audited and on those occasions when our client's records have been examined, the positions we have taken for our clients have been upheld, almost without exception.
